Monk - Way of Predation

A pale woman crouches in a street, trails of blood swirling around her

Way of Predation, by Alifka Hammam Nugroho

Do you know how some monks meditate in silence on a mountaintop for years and conclude that everything is oneness? Well, the Way of Predation is what you get when you meditate in silence on a mountaintop for years, and all you get out of it is getting really hangry.

Role-wise, Predation Monks are intended to be a little flexible. Their ability to heal and gain temp hp makes them much tankier than the average monk (similar to Long Death monks, but not crap). Monstrous Might gives you the flexibility to focus on damage output or skirmishing, but also quietly supports a Strength-based grapple monk. Sapping Spirits gives a rare AoE option for monks, while Unrivaled Predator lets you blast around the battlefield inflicting fear on your enemies.

Design-wise, this one honestly flowed pretty easily. There is a bit of a concern about spamming out the self-heals with Bloodthirsty Strike, but I think it'll wash out fine; that's very expensive in terms of ki, and ultimately isn't as numerically effective as Stunning Strike spam.
